KSE Scholarship Awardee Organize Teaching Program

Ciputat, UIN NEWS Online—UIN Jakarta students who receive KaryaSalembaEmpat (KSE) Scholarship organized a teaching program for elementary students. The program called Rumah Bahagia /Happiness House(Rubah) is held thrice a week at Cempaka Putih, East Ciputat.

There are 35 protégés in this program. The subjects taught are Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Indonesian Language and Literature, English, and Islamic Religion.

That was conveyed bySuci FatikahH apsari, Headmaster of Rumah Bahagia, to UIN NEWS Online, Friday (7/4/2017). Suci hoped that this program can facilitate the children to strive towards achieving their dreams and hope.

“I hope, the student, especially the KSE Scholarship awardees could significantly contribute towards social problem amongst the society, especially in education. Because education is the core investment for the future of Indonesia,” he added.

For teaching system, 23 UIN Jakarta students who received KSE scholarship are involved to be permanent teacher in Rubah. The protégés were divided by their grades at school. Besides school subjects, they also helps the children doing their homework from school. (usa)
