Improving the International Relationships Through Halal Bi Halal

Main Auditorium, UIN News Online –  Civitas academica of UIN Jakarta held Halal Bi Halal event at Harun Nasution main auditorium, Campus I of UIN Jakarta, Wednesday, (7/12). Present as the speaker, Director General of Science and Technology Resources of the Ministry of Research, technology and Higher Education (kemristekdikti) Prof. Dr. Ali Gufron Mukti MSc PhD. Also present in the event, All Vice Rectors, Bureau Chiefs, and a number of Ambassadors from several countries.

As reported before, Rector UIN Jakarta in his speech appreciated and expressed his gratitude for the presence of all UIN Jakarta academicians as well as all invited guests.

“This annual event is a gathering event that involves all employees of UIN Jakarta as well as with UIN Jakarta partners,” said Dede.

On the same occasion, Rector also conveyed the achievements of UIN Jakarta, as well as several targets that need to be achieved in the future.

Separately, the head organizer for 1838 H Halal bi Halal Event Drs Syamsul Arifin MA (Head of the Department of Arabic Language Education of FITK UIN Jakarta) when met by UIN News Online team said that the theme raised for this year event is slightly different than the previous years, but still related to Islam.

“Research activities is a part of Islam, and Islam also developed through research, that is one of the reason why we invite Pak Ali Gufron as the speaker,” said Syamsul.

Regarding the invited guests, he continued, UIN Jakarta deliberately invited the Ambassadors from several countries to strengthen the international cooperation and partnerships.

In line with Syamsul, one of the event committees Iin Handayani Dewi, who currently studying at Universite Lille and Science Po, France told UIN News Online that this event can be a place to strengthen the togetherness.

“This is very positive event, because we can strengthen our relationship as well as opening new cooperation opportunities on a large scale, both from the academic, social, political, and cultural fields,” she said.

She also added that UIN Jakarta can contribute actively in the process of self-internationalization towards World Class University (WCU), as The First Leading University in Indonesia. Additionally, we can represent the face of Indonesian Islam to the International community. As an academic institution, UIN Jakarta should be considered as potential partner to be cooperated with.
