HIQMA UIN Jakarta held the national seminar about al-Qur’an entitled “al-Qur’an Untuk Semua,†Thursday, (10/20) in the main auditorium of UIN Jakarta.[/caption]
Main Auditorium, UIN News Online – To celebrate its 28th anniversary, HIQMA (Qari and Qariah Student Association) UIN Jakarta held the national seminar about al-Qur’an entitled “al-Qur’an Untuk Semua,†Thursday, (10/20) in the main auditorium of UIN Jakarta.
Prof Dr Said Agil Husin al-Munawwar MA presents as the speaker in this national seminar. In his explanation, the ex-Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia tells a story about the establishment of HIQMA, which started from the meeting of Qari, Qariah, and Hafiz in Lampung city on February 22, 1988.
“HIQMA was formed as the result of that meeting, and chaired by the late International Qari, Ustadz H. Mirwan Batubara.†He said.
He also added, when we talked about the interpretation of hadith, then we'll talk about something that there will be no end. Moreover, Said Agil also expects the participants to always read al-Qur’an and implements its teaching in daily life.
“There is no reason for not being able to read al-Qur’an. There are a lot of quick methods to read al-Qur’an, and of course, we also need to implement its teachings.†He added.
For information, the 28th anniversary of HIQMA is filled with a series of activities. It starts from Muharram Carnival, Khataman Akbar, Tabligh Akbar, National Seminar, and Khataman al-Qur’an along with the students throughout the Jabodetabek, and will be closed by the final event on Friday, (10/21) in the main auditorium of UIN Jakarta.
