FSH UIN Jakarta Holds Workshop and Conference Series

Main Auditorium, UIN News Online – The Faculty of Sharia and Law (FSH) UIN Jakarta held National Conference Series and Workshop entitled “Merangkai Indonesia dalam Kebhinekaan”. The activity was held on Monday and Tuesday, (20-21st February) at Main Auditorium of UIN Jakarta.

Present in the event, Rector of UIN Jakarta Prof Dr Dede Rosyada MA, Inspector General of Indonesia Police Iza Fadri, The chairman of ADSI and Sharia and Law forum for PTKIN/S Dr Roibin MHI,  the chairman of IKAHI and Supreme Court Justice Dr Suhadi SH, MH, the member of Commision III of DPR-RI H Arsul Sani SH MSi, the head of Judicial Commision Dr Aidul Fitriciada Azhari SH MHum and Prof Dr Kamarudin Amin as Directorat General of Islamic Education of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

Furthermore, this event also attended by Professor of FSH UIN Jakarta and former Supreme Court Justice Prof. Dr. Abdul Ghani Abdullah SH, and all academicians of FSH UIN Jakarta.

Within the two days, there are a series of events, including the Dean gathering of the Faculty of Sharia and law UIN / IAIN / STAIN / STAIS, the head department gathering of the Faculty of Sharia and law UIN / IAIN / STAIN / STAIS, and the inauguration of APHKI, APPMI and AHES association boards.

In his remarks, Fadri Iza said that, Indonesia has a wide variety of ethnicities, races, customs, culture, religion, island, and language. Therefore, the students are expected to actively contribute in achieving the peace in the Nusantara.

“I hope that students do not become perpetrators of drug crime, radicalism, brawl, and others. As well as play a role in protecting and maintaining social order,” he said.

According to Iza, Indonesia is dominated by the lower classes societies that are always easily influenced by many issues that can undermine the unity.
