Five Program Studies in FEB UIN Jakarta Achieve Satisfactory Accreditation

FEB Building, UIN News Online – Five study programs in the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UIN Jakarta are managed to get very satisfying accreditation for the periods of 2016-2021. The Accreditation is expected to escort the academic quality assurance offered by the faculty. Soon, the faculty will encourage the achievement of accreditation for masters and doctoral programs.
Based on the publication from FEB UIN Jakarta, as quoted by UIN News Online, Thursday, (11/10), the five study programs that managed to achieve the accreditation are Management study program, Economics and Development study program, Accounting study program, Sharia Economics and Sharia Banking study programs. Of the five study programs, the first three earned an “A†accreditation rating, while the others managed to achieve “B†accreditation rating.
According to the Dean of FEB, Dr. Arief Mufraini LC M.Si, there are seven aspects of institutional accreditation rating evaluation, including vision and mission, managements, student affairs, human resources, curriculums, finance, infrastructure, research, community service, and finally the cooperation.
“Alhamdulillah, thanks to the efforts from all of us, in the end, we get excellent results. And hopefully, we could maintain or even increase this achievement.†Said Arief.
The assessor from the BAN-PT (National Accreditation Board of Higher Education) performed an assessment throughout June-September 2016, and the results came out at the beginning of this November.
After the undergraduate study programs, the dean added, in 2017 FEB UIN Jakarta will pursue the acquisition of accreditation for Islamic Banking study program for the masters and doctorate degree.
