Faculty of Psychology UIN Jakarta Achieves “A†Rating of Accreditation

Faculty of Psychology, UIN News Online – The Faculty of Psychology UIN Jakarta get an A rating in the assessment of accreditation by the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN-PT). The decision is in accordance with Decree (SK) No. 2465 / SK / BAN-PT / Akred / S / X / 2016 valid from 10/20/2016 until 10/20/2021.
There are seven aspects of institutional accreditation rating evaluation, including vision and mission, management, student affairs, human resource, curriculum, finance, infrastructure, research, community service, and finally the cooperation.
This was stated the by Dean of the Faculty of Psychology UIN Jakarta, Prof Dr Abdul Mujib MA to UIN News Online in his office, Friday (10/30).
He also added that we need to be grateful for this achievement. This achievement is a form of appreciation for all the efforts and innovation performed by the academic community in the Faculty of Psychology who not only created an ideal academic culture and can be accounted for the quality.
“The accreditation assessment for psychology study program is highly competitive and selective. During this time, the Faculty of Psychology UIN Jakarta always gets “Bâ€, and the results of evaluation of the shortcomings in the previous accreditation period, this year, the Faculty of Psychology could achieve the “A†rating. From 170 psychology study program from all universities in Indonesia, only 23 or 13% who managed to get “A†rank in the assessment of accreditation this time.†He explained.
He also added that shortly, the Faculty of Psychology would develop profession study program, this achievement is the ticket for the psychology department to establish the new study program. “Hopefully, it will run smoothly.†He said. (lrf/rs/ika p/umar)
