Faculty of Psychology Holds Student Competency Training

Psychology Building, UIN NEWS Online - Faculty of Psychology of UIN Jakarta organizes Student Competency Training. The training was opened by Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Diana Mutiah at Dzakiah Darajat Theater Room on Friday (5/5).

In her speech, Diana explained that the design of the work program from Faculty of Psychology estimated able to meet the students needs. "This training has been conducted since 2015. In the evaluation meeting the leader stated that this activity is good and get positive responses from the students, so the faculty hold this training again for the third time and for the third generation," she said.

The training that was attended by 148 participants, divided into three specializations and carried out in two series. The specialization training was Human Resource Development Practice, Assessment Center and Coaching Practice, and Counseling and Psychotherapist Practice.

"The first series of Human Resource Development Practice had already implemented on 17th, 18th and 21st of April, 2017. The second series of the Assessment Center and Coaching Practice and Counseling and Psychotherapist Practice took place on 5th, 8th and 9th of May, 2017." Diana added.

Appear as the speaker was Asep Haerul Gani for specialization of Human Resource Development Practice and Counseling and Psychotherapist Practice. Meanwhile, the Assessment Center and Coaching Practice presented by speakers from Psychology Service Center or PLP Mulia Sari Dewi and Desi Yustari Muchtar.

This training, according to Diana, intended to develop student competencies. She hoped that this training able to provide sufficient provision for students when they carry out Community Service Work (KKL) in order to apply it for the benefit of larger community.

"By conducting this training, students are expected able to compete through the working world competition. Such competition as in industrial, educational, social, and other fields," she concluded. (usa-im)
