Dharma Wanita UIN Jakarta Hold Social Care Outing

Bogor, UIN News Online – Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) UIN Jakarta hold social care outing at Taman Buah Mekarsari (Mekarsari Fruit Garden), Cileungsi, Bogor, West Java on Wednesday, (1/25). This activity is aimed strengthen the familiarity between the committee and members as well as to foster the social awareness through sharing.

The event was attended by approximately 200 participants and consisted of the officials, lecturers, and employees wife who works at UIN Jakarta. The activity is routinely held every year in a different place.

“We do not just visit beautiful places. But more than that, we want to establish the familiarity among the big family of UIN Jakarta. Particularly between the committee and the members, both as an employee and not an employee,” said the head of DWP UIN Jakarta Andriani Dede Rosyada.

Andriani also said that this activity must be held every year because it has a positive value to establish the silaturahmi. Through this activity, the DWP committee can share with its members in the form of door prizes.

Meanwhile, the head of outing committee Fauzah Murodi said that Mekarsari Fruit Garden is chosen because of its close location to the campus and also because of its good natural condition. A lot of new knowledge can be obtained from this area, including especially about the type of plants and fruits.

“There are many educational values can be obtained here,” she said.

During the activities, the participants were served with a large variety of educational and sports game. They were also entertained by organ tunggal, penguin dance and poco-poco dance. (usa)
