DEMA UIN Jakarta Holds PMW 2017

Rectorate, UIN NEWS Online— In the field of Creative Economy, the Student Executive Council (DEMA) of UIN Jakarta holds the Entrepreneurship Student Program (PMW) 2017. The event themed “Ready to be a Great Islamic Entrepreneur” is scheduled to be held for four months, May, September, October and November 2017.

The event is aimed to inculcate and hone students' entrepreneurial spirit, and will be filled with variety of positive activities related to entrepreneurship, fostering students’ interest and talents in the field of entrepreneurship.

That was conveyed by one of the PMW committee, Ariny in a meeting with UIN NEWS Online at editorial room, Tuesday (2/05). She also added that in three months, there will be many events to be held. “We will hold seminars and trainings, marketing challenge, campreneur (entrepreneur camp?), coaching & mentoring, internship in related instance/organization and student entrepreneur festival,” she explained.

Besides the aforementioned purpose, according to Ariny, this event also aimed to build entrepreneurship mentalities, which is confidence, hardworking, innovative, calculated-risk takers, have empathy, social skills.

“By participating in this event, the students will have the opportunity to study the theory and experience a business activity. Besides, this event will also create a successful entrepreneur and decrease unemployment rate,” said Ariny.

For info, this activity is open to the public. However, students who wish to participate in the event are expected to register. The requirements that must be prepared are photos size 3 × 4 and copy of KTM / KTP, fill out the registration form, and collect business plan proposal.

Students who follow this activity are exclusive for 2nd semester until 8th semester. Not only individuals, students can register groups of up to five people. Registration time will be closed on Monday (07/05).
