Defense Minister Ryamizard Will Speak Lecture in Front of Thousands of Students

Student Center Field, UIN NEWS Online - Indonesian Defense Minister Ryamizard Ryacudu is scheduled to give a talk about defending the country in front of thousands of new students of UIN Jakarta. In the waning sense of nationalism of the nation today, the issue of state defense becomes important to be conveyed back to society, especially among university students.

According to the Vice Rector for Student Affairs UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Yusron Razak, Defense Minister Ryamizard is sure to attend UIN Jakarta campus and give his speech in front of about 6,000 new students in Academic and Student Culture Academy (PBAK) academic year 2017/2018.

"We have been informed that Insya Allah, the Defense Minister (Ryamizard Ryacudu) will come and deliver a lecture on state defense," he said after chairing the coordination meeting for the opening of PBAK at the Student Center Building on Friday (8/18/2017).

According to PBAK's schedule, Defense Minister Ryamizard is scheduled to speak for half an hour between 08.30 and 09.00 am. Ryamizard's lecture will be delivered after the opening ceremony at UIN Jakarta campus field on 21 August 2017. PBAK is an introduction to campus environment, especially in academic and student affairs, for new students before attending lectures.

Yusron said the issue of defending important countries was conveyed back to the community, especially the campus community, in order to fully understand the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (KNRI) and the diversity of the Indonesian nation. Through efforts to cultivate the defense of the country, UIN Jakarta students are also expected to further strengthen the unity and unity and love to the nation and NKRI.

"This state lecture is in accordance with the vision and mission of UIN Jakarta, which are Islam, Indonesia value, and humanity," said Yusran who once served as Vice Dean of the Faculty Islamic Theology UIN Jakarta. (usa)
