Lampung, UIN News Online – Hundreds of visitors from various Islamic Higher Education (PTKI) in AICIS 2016 event approached the 3 square meters booth that display the number of journals, books, and magazines published by UIN Jakarta, in the courtyard of IAIN Raden Intan Auditorium, Lampung, Wednesday, (11/1).

In addition to viewing the work of UIN Jakarta academicians, the visitors also ask some questions related to the UIN Jakarta.

“Some of the visitors are not only interested in reading and owning the journals, books, and magazines, some of them asked things related to admissions system and the learning process in UIN Jakarta,” said the Public Relations staff of UIN Jakarta who also participates in AICIS 2016, Eva Nauli Aprilla SmHk.

She also added, the exhibition booth of UIN Jakarta will be kept open until Thursday, (11/3). On the first day since the booth opened, the availability of books and souvenirs brought by a team of UIN Jakarta is almost depleted.

“In less than three hours since the booth was opened, availability of books, magazines, and souvenirs brought by UIN Jakarta team is running out, especially for the scientific journals.” She said.

At the same place, one of the visitors when met by UIN News Online, Afika, admitted that she is very pleased to visit the UIN Jakarta exhibition booth; it is because she managed to find a journal that she was looking for, the journal is published by one of the faculties at UIN Jakarta.

“I am grateful and happy to be able to find a journal that I had been looking for without having to go to CIputat.” She said. (lrf/ika p/umar)
