Ahmad Thib Raya Gain MURI Award

Mall of Kelapa Gading, UIN NEWS Online-- The Dean of Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching Study (FITK) UIN Jakarta, Prof Dr Ahmad Thib Raya MA, received an award on Indonesia Museum of Record (MuRI) in World Class on writing of religious Tausiyah in social media Facebook for longest ongoing basis.

This award is given, Saturday (02/04) in MuRI Office Hall, Mall of Kelapa Gading Jakarta. “I did not feel the course of time, as it turns out it’s already been one year, two months, and 26 days from the day i started. With no a pause,” said Former Executive (Plt), Rector of Islamic State University (UIN) of Alauddin Makassar.

Prof Thib added, that he started writing Tauziyah on 6th Januari 2015 until 2 April 2016. “I still remember and record in my memory that i started writing on Tuesday, 6th January 2015. The first title i wrote was “Shame” which followed by different titles, and until now the writing of Tauziyah is still going strong,” he remembered.

Besides Prof Thib, similar award with different categoty is given to several people. Prof Thib said, through his facebook account, that he never take a break in writing Tauziyah and is the longest time in the world. (Translated by: Ihsan/Amanda)
