675 Students Follow Bidikmisi Selection Test

Student Affairs Building, UIN News Online – As many as 675 students participated in Bidikmisi Scholarship selection test at UIN Jakarta student affairs center during August 2016. The sub-division Head of Student Administration, Budi Purwanti, S.Pd to UIN News Online team on Friday (9/2), explained that the 675 students came from various faculties. “Bidikmisi scholarship is directed to helping high-achieving students from low-income families.” Said Budi.

Budi also added that the grantees of Bidikmisi Scholarships consist of the first and the third-semester students. “We prioritized this scholarship for the new students of UIN Jakarta, and a total of 205 students will be chosen as a grantee.” He explained.

To recruit the most suitable candidates, UIN Jakarta student affairs will hold several tests such as administration, personality and aptitude test on September 5th, and Interview session on the 7th and 9th of September 2016. “The result will be announced on September 14th.” He added.

Bidikmisi scholarships program will grant 6 million rupiahs for each grantee per semester. These funds are divided for tuition fees, dormitory, and living cost. (farah nh/zm/ika p/umar)
