228 UIN Jakarta Graduate School New Students follow Orientation Periode

SPs Building, UIN NEWS Online - A total of 228 new students of UIN Jakarta Graduate School (SPs) for the odd semester academic year 2017/2018 follow the Orientation or introduction of campus environment. The Study Orientation period was opened by UIN Rector Prof. Dr. Dede Rosyada at Auditorium SPs UIN Jakarta, Monday (8/27/2017). Appeared to present Director of SPs UIN Jakarta Prof. Dr. Masykuri Abdillah, Head of Doctoral Program Prof. Dr. Didin Saepudin, and Chairman of Master Program Dr. JM Muslimin. Participants of Study Orientation consisted of 139 Graduate Program students and 89 Doctoral Programs. They are the result of the screening which held on 12-13 July 2017 and 25-26 July 2017. According to the schedule, the Study Orientation period lasts for two days on 28-29 August 2017. The first day's material includes delivery of vision and mission, Institutional and Academic Orientation, Orientation to Scientific Writing, Abstract Preparation and Proposal, and Academic Technical Information. The second day's materials include Indonesian, English, and Arabic Language Access Practice and Presentation of Abstract Proposal. In addition they are also introduced about the campus environment, especially the various facilities that support lectures for students. Director of SPs UIN Jakarta Prof. Dr. Masykuri Abdillah expects students who follow the study orientation period to be familiar with various academic policies, especially those related to the learning process on campus. In fact he also hopes students can take advantage of various facilities available, such as libraries, quiet room, and internet access. "Please take advantage of all the facilities on campus as well as possible. The campus environment here  is clean, quiet, and comfortable," he said. (usa-rs)
