Tigaraksa, UIN NEWS Online –A total of 128 UIN Jakarta students who conduct community services (KKN) devoted themselves in Tigaraksa Sub-district, Tangerang, Banten. The opening ceremony was held in front of Tigaraksa Sub-district Office on Monday (7/31/2017), marked by balloon release ceremony by the Head of Tigaraksa Sub-district Office Yayat Rohimat.

A representative of KKN participants in Tigaraksa, Ahmad Nur Najmawan, said that KKN participants in Tigaraksa sub-district are spread out in seven villages, Bantar Panjang, Cileles, Kadu Agung, Marga Sari, Pasir Nangka, Pamatang and Sodong.

“We are here (at the KKN site, Ed) as the guest. Let’s keep a good name of ourselves and UIN Jakarta alma mater,” he said.

During KKN, he said, the participants will carry out various program activities, both in the form of human resource development and physical activity. The event will last for the next 30 days or one month from the end of July until the end of August 2017.

Tigaraksa Sub-district Chief, Yayat Rohimat, in his speech expressed his gratitude to the KKN participants who have been willing to join Tigaraksa sub-district residents. He hopes KKN participants can give a significant influence and can be a good role model in the village where they serve.

“Hopefully all activities undertaken by KKN participants can run smoothly and can be beneficial to all the people in Tigaraksa Sub-district, especially in the targeted villages, ” he said.

As reported earlier, UIN Jakarta this year released at least 2,700 regular KKN participants (UIN NEWS Online, Tuesday (7/25). They participants will be spread across two districts and one city in the province of Banten and West Java, Tangerang Regency, South Tangerang City, and Bogor Regency. KKN implementation itself will lasts for one month from 25 July to 25 August 2017. (usa).
